Shaheed Darshan Singh Pheruman Memorial College for Women is indebted to its founding father Jathedar Sohan Singh Jalalusman who built it to commemorate a great martyr S. Darshan Singh Ji Pheruman, an 'apostle of sacrifice'.
The college is spread over 10 acres.

- Qualifications and Grade as per UGC / NCTE/ Punjab Govt. / GNDU norms.
- Reservation Policy will be as per Punjab Govt. rules.
- Candidates must submit online application within 15 days from the date of publication of advertisement.
A copy of the application along with a demand draft of Rs. 1180/- (non-refundable) in favour of Registrar, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar must also be sent to Dean, CDC, Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar within 20 days from the date of advertisement through Registered Post / by hand. Candidate must send the required documents along with the application as per the list available for Aided Colleges in the CDC Portal on University website (www.gndu.ac.in). Incomplete application (without the required documents) 'or' the application received after due date will not be entertained.
